THE 2010 ANNUAL CLEANUP

Over 150 volunteers turned out to make our 17th annual cleanup one of the most successful ever!

Over 25 Tons of garbage and 19 Tons of concrete were removed from the Pinelands Forest.

If you helped out...Thank You! If you missed it, here's what you missed.

After working hard, it's time to relax with a hot dog and reflect on our great accomplishments!

Kerry Jennings, President of the FRMC, congratulates all the volunteers for a tremendous effort and another successful cleanup!

Kenneth Little Hawk was the noted speaker who addressed all the volunteers on top of the mountain.

Little Hawk tells us that we should practice the sharing of cultures instead of treating each other differently and unfairly.

Little Hawk tells us stories of Native American traditions. How we must respect Mother Earth, for that is where all our life, food and enjoyment comes from.

More construction debris that could be taken away by the Township for free, instead, it chokes the plants and animals that make the FRMs their home.

Can you believe people just throw this much litter in the woods? It won't go away on it's own folks! It will never go away!

Construction debris is also litter, it won't dissolve or disintegrate and it makes for such an eyesore in such a beautiful place.

Some people just don't care that they destroy the environment as long as it's "Out of Sight, Out of Mind"

Volunteers worked only 3 hours and containerized all this litter and debris. Amazing!

The soil in this dumpster was taken up by a backhoe because the roofing debris was so broken up into very small pieces that it was the most feasible way to remove it in the short amount of time we have to clean up the woods.
This is a 40 cubic-yard dumpster that is tightly-packed with litter, garbage and debris and is most-likely overweight.
